I did not even know about clutchless shifting when I had my 01. Bought it with 7000 miles and sold it with 27000 miles and my buddy who bought it says he always clutched. 2nd gear went out at about 32-35000 miles. My 99 has 26k and I never use the clutch now(during racing) with no problems???? Its a toss up, the problem is there no matter what. My opinion!!!

I agree with bike dude , less slop in a clutchless shift.
