Yes trying to the problem isnt so much finding the lights as it is finding a plastic piece to go on the outside so it looks good, looks like it was made for it.
I have found these but not sure they would look that good, looking for something with a little style to it.

I can make ya the LED boards easy as sh*t but i don't do the housings as i don't have a plastics company ;-) just a spare bedroom(a.k.a. "the lab") and a soldering station

Thats the problem im having to, finding something that is triangular shaped to fit in the area i want, dont need nothing huge less then 1.25" with amber led's, but would it stand up to the elements ? i dont know much about led's?

seen on some saturday / sunday tv carshows people making thier own molds and mixing arcrylic resin (body shop supply store) supposably inexpensive... of course on tv, everything is easy
