Here we go....the 05' riding season is officially underway. Great turnout, 400 to 500 bikes, no bad wrecks. Plenty of sportbikes, way better then usual. This year, as you pull into the drive, they segregated the riders, sportbikes to the right, cruisers to the left. Kind of different but I think it reduced the tension between the two groups....too bad it has to be that way. At least we didn't have to walk through all the leaking oil...
They had a slow ride contest (what else do you do with limited space?) and a gsxr 1000 won, figure that one out. All in all, a good start to the season....I just love drifting off to sleep to the sound of big v-twins, cobra straight pipes and the wail of every deputy sheriff car in the county chasing after them...
