Hadnt got one of these in a long time but somehow this got thru my e-mail security settings. Anyone else getting these?

They allways include huge amounts of $ that a person is trying to get out of their country. Usually the middle east and involves oil money or arms/military money... blah blah blah.

New dance, but the song remains the same.

--- Hi,
I hope you will be able to understand my english writing properly, although with the help of my dictionary i can write better than i can
speak. My name Nada Dalal, i am a widow with five children, we living in the small shite neighborhood in Baghdad. My husband was
killed by Sadam Hussein's son Qusay some months long before the USA came to save us iraq from the hands of the dictators. I am
writing you because i need you to assist me save me and the future of my children. I do not want to be here in iraq anymore with my
children, we want to be in a peaceful country where we change our religion and live without fearing.
my late husband was from the generation of Nayif-Da'ud group who were taken out of power by saddam hussein the 60s. Although my
husband later became one of sadam hussein's business friends after many years later. Before my husband was murdered, he told me
that saddam had given him some huge amount of money, millions of dollars money which saddam wanted him to use in buying arms
and materials for weapons. my husband did not support saddam's motives and decided not to purchase this war weapons, so he
decided to bury the money underground. it was my husbands refusal to cooperate with saddam evil plans that led them to kill him.
During the USA attack in iraq, i was able to move some of the money along with the help of my children and headed towards the
borders. I dressed the money in a way that nobody will ever know. There is no peace here, because some of saddam's people who are
hidding do not want to give up. I am working on how to move this money out of the country to a peaceful place where i can settle with
family. I have some little experince of exportation from my late husband's business.
I need you to help me receive and keep this money and assist me and my children change location, which is the most important thing
to me. i want to bring up my children in a better place and give them the best education they need. I am still young woman, i need
freedom and probably hope i could find a man to stand for me and my children. I will be willing to share the money with you
reasonably with you but all i need is your understanding and trust.
please do let me know if you can help me out of this bondage. i will be waiting to hear from you soon.
yours sincerely.
Nada Dalal Nayif.

about 15 years ago I got a couple of these by regular mail, claimed to be a sheik with loads of oil $ and another one was from guy claimed to be in Africa...

I'm not sure how the scam works, but it is obvious there is a problem...

If you respond, they'll ask for your banking info "so they can transfer money to your account, and they will pay you a percentage for your help", blah, blah. blah. If you do it, they'll suck every penny out of your account, pretending to be you! I do network security for a living, and I've seen 30 to 40 versions of this cr@p at work. Don't even reply to it!

It's a total SCAM!

Used to get them a couple of years back....

All a pile of big ####...

You guys probably already know this, but this is called a 419 (advance fee fraud) scam. Take a look at this website for a look at the growing sport called "scam-baiting"

http://www.419eater.com/

It is truly hilarious what they get some of these scammers to do....

Oh man. I was put on a list and those brain dead idiots were sending me at least 10 to 20 a day from their internet cafe's in Africa.
Few years ago I signed up to a Forum that was against street spam (coroplast get rich quick and viagra crap that retards put on telephone poles).

That forum got hacked by the street spammers and all addresses were put on a web site just for those Nigerian scammers. 10 years of never letting my real email address out was at an end.

I have to admit I had a lot of fun with those idiots. I kept stringing one along for months. In the end I was supposed to meet a contact in Amsterdam. I went on travelocity and got real flight numbers and hotel listings.
I had that jackass waiting for me at the airport and then traveling 20 miles away to the hotel...several times over the course of a week! They're so gullible it's like they're putty in your hands.

If you really want to make one of those scammers explode on you, tell them you'd like to deal with them but you're afraid they'll be dead of AIDS long before the transaction is completed.
wow.gif

Or make up a curse with a bunch of weird shid...you'd be surprised at how seriously they take that!

After that spoof site expired on Dec. 31st my dozen a day scams emails disappeared and I haven't got a single one since.

This is probably the best 419 site out there, you'll laugh to ya puke!
