Rectifier Problem?

I have a 1999 Hayabusa engine in my 1961 bubble car!

) When I took it out yesterday we had to be rescued by the RAC as the battery had gone flat. He said that it was not charging and suggested the rectifier. The red light on the dash is working as usual, but the battery is not charging.

Any ideas?

Put in a BRAND NEW batt. , before jumping at the rectifier .

I have seen some people talk about checking the voltage at the battery terminals while the bike is running and it should be in the neiborhood of 12-14 volts... if it isnt then somethis is amiss in the charging department. Use the search and see what ya find!
