Rear Brakes!

I just change my really worn rear brakes. To save my own life I can't get the brake pads to open wide enough for the rear disc to clear them. I've tried to open them by forcing a screw driver between without any luck. I got one side to fully open but the other will not give. What can I do?

use a small block of wood on the outside, use channel lock pliers againist your old pads in the caliper to force them open...worse case senerio, loosen the bleeder. If you have to do this, your caliper more than needs rebuilt.

Make sure you install the retaining clip the correct way.
