Random shutting off

I've noticed lately the sometime if i rev the bike a little the bike shuts off it does not do this all the time, it also sometimes occurs whne i am slowing down by down shifting and then grab the clutch in at about 10 mph the bike shuts off. I have a 2001 if it makes any difference. Your ideas and suppor are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the age old problem of your idle being set to low. I have mine around 1100. The norm for most people on this board is 1000 - 1250. Your idle screw is located on the right side of your busa. If you lift your gas tank, you will see it. Just remember to let your busa run for 10 minutes before adjusting the idle:blush:

If that doesnt work check your kickstand to make sure its not loose . If so this will engage the cutoff switch when you accelerate and stop sometimes.

Also check the easy stuff too, like batter conenctions, etc.

99.9% of the time its will be idle... if the idle is ok, and you have a PC3 installed then I suggest you re-set the Throtle Position Sensor
