R1 rear brake conversion

Have any current members replaced the rear brake caliper with an R1 caliper? I have searched but found no specific information. I picked up the R1 caliper system. They mount to the top side of swingarm on R1's but it looks like it is held in place buy a slot. I have had nothing but problems with O.E rear brake for a few years and need a change!

Go Brembo , conversion kits are readily available. I've done it , easy peasy.

did you ever dismantle the entire caliper into its pieces to do a deep clean?

that way you can save a lot of money for new parts and get back a nice rear brake.

and at the front the same game.

Unfortunately yes complete rebuild of caliper with new goodies & lots of methodical care even rebuilt the rear master; then swapped it out for new ones just incase. Think air may be at top banjo since line is extra long. Will crack the bolt jus to see.
