I have a RF1000 with all three shields. Usually wear the dark smoke because I  usually ride during daylight. Will be taking all three shields to Bash.
It's a pretty easy change on this lid.

I used to ride with shades and clear but shades always slid. I have same prob. when I ride with glasses on,

so I prefer to wear contacts.

I have a Shoei X-11. 20 second shield changes. I use an Iridium Blue Mirrored shield most of the time. It is lighter than the smoke if I get caught out after dark. Without the HID Headlight I'm not sure It would work at all when dark. If I know I'm riding after dark I carry a spare shield in a carrier that straps around my body under my jacket.

Mirrored shield all the time *and* sunglasses during the day.

With contacts, my eyes are REAL sensitive to light...

Carry two shields everywhere. Prefer dark smoke, since wear glasses. The HJC CL-12 takes seconds to swap out the shields.

I use a mirrored visor day and night . It's really not that bad at night .
I agree with you. The mirror visor is best. It makes for almost no glare unlike the smoked visors. The only draw back is the cleaning of it. you have to use water and soap then blot dry with clean soft non abrassive towel. Or it get the sheit scratched out of it.
