Velocity maintains there races bikes in a meticulous manner...Most owners barely lube their chain...I did all the right things with an alum rear and it ended up looking like the knuckles of my fist...They also run multi stage and slider clutches which is not as hard on the drive train as the oem clutch set up...Also weight is an issue with them they shave everywhere they can...Do life experiences count the value as research???
what brand of aluminum sprocket did you use...there is alot more to sprocket than the material its made of...i sell all the major brands and have seen first hand by installing them and seeing how they are out of round...if you start with products that are inferior it won't matter what material it is, it's gonna wear prematurely...and it's always best to start with fresh chain when installing new sprockets...
btw...life experiences do count for research!!
