I was looking at the Embassy for a few reaons.

1. free Buffet breakfast
2. pretty consistent service
3. Rooms are Suites which can be split between 2 couples to reduce costs
4. Close to everything

Just my thoughts, Ive stayed at alomost EVERY hotel you will see on these sites but to be honest I prefer embassy for thei consistency PLUS theres an Outback Steakhouse right insideand you know how Lycan loves his STEAK

I think they've blocked this deal on Fridays & Saturdays. It's available 7/12-7/16

Now the difficult decision...is it worth saving $80-$100/night on the hotel to change the dates?

I would prefer to do this over a weekend to minimize the number of vacation days it will take.

I agree, that why were looking at flying out Thu night and we only have to burn Friday and Monday...

I should get some of my Chili's and Macaron Grill contacts to pony up some freebees if we go.

I want to take our youngest since he doesn't really get to go on stuff like this very often.

That tourism deal gives a $200 credit (not sure to what) and $100 Puerto Rico gift card.

Also if I'm going, I'd probably look at the Courtyard near the airport. Its right on the beach, it has a nice (smaller sized) casino, easy to get to old san juan and other places and is like 5mins to the airport
