Propping the front end

Can any of you guys tell me how to prop the front end of the bike up with out a race stand? I want to slip my forks back up a little, dropped them an inch and I've got a track day on Monday and want a tad more clearance

Well I've been thinking about it and I might try using ratchet straps from the handlebars connected to the crossbeam in my shed, getting it up there should be a cinch, it's not going to be real stable tho....

I'll figure it out and post a pic or two

I have a flat oil pan and sidewinder on my bike, but I always put it on the rear stand and put a hydraulic floor jack underneath the pan until the front wheel raises a little off the ground. I've done it multiple times with ease, but if you go too high the bike can fall left or right
