A mere 2 weeks after she leaves the shop, i get cut off by an 18 wheeler. Tboned the cab part and shattered my left wrist along with the bike I spent 5 months rebuilding. Looks mostly like the nose, the right fairing and headlight along with some broken spikes. This has me so down, that i dont even know if i want to rebuild again. I had pics posted in the "appearance mod" threads.

couple things I noticed, first of all Im very happy you are alive!
second thing your front tire looks way bald and in fact I can see the tread wear indicators in the photo...not a good idea!
why is your exhaust dented flat? is your bike lowered that much or have you been putting a jack under the exhaust?
3rd that front rim looks like it now has a dent in it and is no longer round..may just be the photo but id check it out
anyway I hope you have a speedy recovery and good luck with the bike...I feel your pain mine was trashed 2 weeks after a 2000$ paint job...

hate to see busa oil on the ground

Heal up and take care of yourself first. You can get another bike later.

I know it's disheartening, but better oil on the pavement than blood...

Don't worry about the bike right now. Get healed up physically AND mentally. When you are 100% in both of those areas THEN decide what you want to do about the bike.

Glad your for the most part OK. Hope you heal quickly and completely!

I am just sick seeing that! It can be rebuilt however. You're still here and that's what matters.

Good news is that you were able to live to tell the story. You can get another bike when your are ready.
