power commander

A friend has a power commander 3-R, says he will sell it for 100.00 and throw in a modded air box. How hard is it to get right, as their is no usb ?

if you dont take it, ill sure take it off his hands!!! from my recent searches, the pcIII-R is hard to find now....or atleast it is for me.

Also,,,, Im not sure of the years his pc-3 is for,, mine is a 05,being its not usb will it fit all busa's ?

It's got a standard rs232 port on it to allow programming

I (think) the big advantage is the r allows timing adjustment

alot of the guys with larger turbos use it to pull timing out. stock bike or stage 1 turbo should be fine
