Power Commander ?????

This may sound like an ignorant question but I had to ask....Does the part number on a power commander matter which bike it is installed on?

Power Commander's are specific to a bike year/model. Take a quick look at Dynbojet's site for more details. For example, a PC for a Yamaha R1 may not work for a Busa '08. And even among Busa's, different PC for model yaers.
