It isnt just the ports. Recently, some toll roads in the midwest were sold to another country to operate, because all the money in kickbacks and political hirees that cant run a business, cant make the road profitable. Someone else in another country will make money off it because our state governments are so corrupt.
It's always about the money. No one cares about how it affects the country as a whole.

funny isn't it. instead of replacing the corrupt individual we outsource the jobs and not worry about it. Wouldn't it just be easier to get rid of the thieving bast.... and make them liable for the money they've claimed they earned???

Not that I have anything against outsourcing as long as it works both ways. Yeah we know that they get out of the deal (I think I heard on the news that their cargo ships won't even be searched, but we know that the media is a pillar of truth right.....) but what is the US getting out of this? If it's money tell us how this money will help the people that are going to be displaced jobwise out and how this will help out the economy as a whole.

Actually you can thank the unions for what is happening.. They put so much pressure on politicians for control and funds not much the regular citizen can do..If the unions did not approve what is happening right now you can bet it wouldnt happen . IMAO it is the fact that the unions know if USA runs the ports more then likely the company that does is going to do away with the union envolvment if not they couldnt afford to pay the wages..
