Since today is the first day of school for my child how about a topic that talks about the conditions our education system?

This ties in nicely with obesity. If we didnt have to employ the results of our education system there wouldnt be so many fast food joints making fatty foods so readily available. If we had a better product graduating from our schools we could employ them in the sciences and not as greasy food peddlers.

actually people are DUMB enough to BUY that Grease Bomb... so I think that Hypothesis may be true. (but not in the path you suggested)

Also.... why is UNHEALTHY FOOD (such as a double cheeseburger) CHEAPER (on the dollar menu) than HEALTHY FOOD (a salad at Wendy's is like $4)???

STRANGELY, for me eating VERY HEALTHY at home is WAY cheaper than even the cheapest fast food.

I blame obesity on stagnant lifestyles.  Nintendo over bicycles.   I STILL LOVE Nintendo, and as a child I bet I would have been a wreck if I had video games.  In the lack of, there was bicycle, fort building, exploration on foot, imagination, treehouse building, sledding in the snow, dirt clod fights, BB guns, swimming, camping... now:  TV and XBOX for the kids

I guess it would cost too much for them to serve healthy food. I wish a sirloin burger was an option. but the leaner the meat gets the more expensive it is. Whole grain white bread would be another good option. Canola mayonaise is not much more $ than reg. mayo but is ALOT healthier and tastes the same.
