ok, I am spending all of my $ on mods. And if its something I can do myself I want to save the $ for another mod. So....... Can anyone give me a quick how 2 lesson? Pics would help also.

I say screw the polishing just have it chromed Bro will look better and less to maintain.

Polishing metal (forks,rims,and frame) is very easy to do by hand but is time consuming. Just follow the step I included in the link below.

I think Rhythm gave me the polishing bugg. I'll have to try my hand at the pipes first and see how hard it is. Wheels must have took a while to get smooth.
You just used that Aircraft stripper on the whole wheel??

You just used that Aircraft stripper on the whole wheel??
Click on the link above I posted for instructions! No kind of stripper will work on the hub (center) area on the rim, unless you acid dip them, a technique that powder coating company use. Trust me, easy off, gasket remover,air craft stripper won't even put a scratch on the hub area, so don't worry about taping that area off when stripping the lip of the rim.
Oh, my rims are now chromed but the photo above are polished.

Not hard to do I just followed Rhythyms instructions.
Took about 6-8hrs and came out o/k for the first time
plan on getting it flawless over the winter and then
sealing it up.
