Hello out there,
I just got done polishing my frame, swing arm and the grab bar. But i Cant get it to shine up like the other bikes i have done. Did Suzuki use a different alloy compound on the frames for Busa's?

The older Suzuki's shined easier..the main cast part on the Busa is kinda dull no matter what you do..its all in how pure the aluminum is..some better than others!!

I know the older kawi stuff didnt sine that good!!

what are you using to buff?what grit did you go up to?

do the mothers billet a few times in a row with a T shirt..if its smooth it will shine!!

I did this frame like all the others i have done. Started with 150 to work over the welds and the castings, the then went all the way up to 3000 wet. Then plenty of hand rubbing with good ol mothers.
