We have been exploring this week, finally made the tourist stop at Golden Gate, and then went out to Point Reyes to check out the light house. Large container ship coming in.

Now we are getting out to the coast. Several ranches still in operation circa 1860 to 1870. Erosion is taking hold. It is so beautiful out here.
Up near the light house, they are closed on Tuesdays thru Thursdays, guess which day we went. Tuesday. LOL
The light house itself, may have to make a return trip on the busa one day. The roads coming out here are amazing and would make a good day ride. This location was in operation until 1975, tried to get a good picture of the placard for you.
More of the coast line.
Last few, we had to stop at one of the beaches on the way home.

Lived on my 41' boat(late '90's,before my ex got it)in Loch Lomond Marina(San Rafael)and used to fish a lot out by Alcatraz.The spot was known as Halibut Alley and pulled a lot of 20+ pounders out of there.Thanks for posting the pics bro.
