PC3R help

Does the power commander have to be hooked up to the bike and the computer to load a map? If not, how do you load a map on this dang thing? Do you have to have a 9 volt hooked to it? Computer is telling me when I hit the up load all button that the PC3 is not found. HELP! Thanks!

either bike has to be on as in running or you need the battery thing

Thanks. I got it figured out after about 4 hours. The serial port on my computer wasn't cooperating. Thanks again for the map.
