the turbo guys have to run that sensor relocation mod. It strictly regulates when the cooling fan kicks on/off. It doesn't have anything to do with the ECM.

another option is the Honda temp sensor mod. It turns your fan on sooner and still retains the sensor in the stock location.

If you do a search you'll probably find the part number. The switch can be found at any auto parts store.

You really only need to mod these things if you're having over heating issues. That doesn't seem to be the case for you.
