High School Grad, Air force Trained, Manager of Metrology and currently a Validation engineer in Biotech. Self taught mostly, school of hard knocks, and a lot of common sense. School is cool, but common sense can't be taught.

I'm just a lowly Mechanical Engineer with a worthless Bachelors Degree. With this I could make about 40 to 50K down here in South Tejas. So I work Civil service as a GS13 and make just over 90K as a Planner/Estimator. However, this Base in due to close, thanks to BRAC, in the next 2 or 3 years. So unless I transfer, and there's little available, I will go back to the private sector for half of what I now make. Oh well, Sh*t happens.

Left and went to work. 7 years of CNC machining and 3 years of bouncing later, now I'm starting up a website with my fiancee. Doing sumthing that I love, with sumone I love. Doesn't get any better than that.:)

That's the closest choice, still working on it. didn't have to do with "it wasn't for me" had to do with Parents didn't have much $$$ and i had to start working at an early age. over the years i've gone back here and there trying to get an actual degree, but kids Etc keep comming up.

Bachelor's Degree in Economics.. (Thanks to the GI Bill..)

Currently working on MBA..

Here's what I've learned..

Happiness = Family + friends + Hayabusa !!

I have over 45 years of schooling, I did the 7th grade twice, I did the 10th grade twice, so there is 34 years right there. Then all the other grades and some college and what not. I am sick of school so now i just work and try not to learn anymore, but somehow I manage to keep learning more all the time. My IQ was only 146 last time I was tested, so i must be getting dummer, it used to be higher when i was younger.
