wow.gif There's a bunch of smart mo fo's in here! Not me..
I got bored with school and dropped out in the 10th grade~ Tried a couple of vocational schools and then took a Jr. College course in Private Investigations~ Never went anywhere with that either~ Like Rhythm. it was all School of Hard Knocks from there~ Then I learned it's not what you know, but who you know.. I landed an entry level position in Building Maintenance~ Now I'm the Assistant Manager for a Medical Arts Building making quite a bit an hour~  smile.gif  Whoda thought... wink.gif

**Disclaimer, for all the kiddies reading this post~ I got extremely lucky! Stay in school and be somebody!! School is cool** cool.gif

Pisses me off when I think about how hard I worked to complete all my college. Currently working on my MBA with a concentration in Marketing. My completed degrees include: Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management and an Associates degree in Finance. umnik.gif All of that and I'm still a Lab Technician (15 years on Arpil 24th) at a major oil refinery... Go figure! rock.gif Instead of being miserable I just wake up and THANK GOD each and every day because I at least have a job to go to. I desperately want to do something else because my job is too redundant and poses no challenges for me. Anybody hiring?rock.gif laugh.gif blush.gif

I joined the Air Force as soon as I left high school, by the time I was out I had a wife and two kids. I started working at the first job I found and have been in that line of work now for just over 15 years. No college, but I make enough that my wife doesn't need to work out of the home and I have very few bills. (no credit cards). I really can't complain, as a teenager I never saw anything more for me than building a little shack to live in on the family farm up in Missouri. smile.gif

got a bachelors in mechanical engineering.... thought about going on but I was sick of school.

B.S. in Professional Aeronautics with minors in Economics, Airport planning and Design and Logistics

M.B.A. with a concentration in management

Currently in my first year of Ph.D. studies in Business Administration, concentrating on Authentic Leadership.

The neat thing is that between the two degrees, I only paid about 1K.  The military is great for paying for school - no complaints from me.

I'm in my 3rd year. Currently attending a JC college taking all my lower case courses. I'm majoring in Electrical Engineering, although that made change because now-a-days computers do most of the engineering. I'm a electrical foreman currently building a 7 story highrise apartment complex 3 miles from downtown L.A. After 22 years of of being in the trade, I decided 3 years ago to get my degree because I was tried of playing in the dirt, and felt I needed a change. Construction Management was my minor, but now its going to be my major this way I'll be done sooner and still work for the same company just not in the DIRT.

BigK cool.gif

PS, The pay is better for Construction Manager's $$$,$$$.

People always call me a smartazz so however smart that is, tounge.gif graduated high school started partying thought about college, that took money not gave it back, so I went to work that was all she wrote
