OK, another TRE question..

Does the pc3 recocnize what gear you are in, or does it use the same fuel map for every gear? I guess the question is, I have an Ivans smart TRE so will it mess up the pc3 map?

I was thinking about that too. If it tricks your ECU into thinking it's always in 5'th gear, wouldn't it always run the 5'th gear map ?

When you put the bike on the dyno, it is mapped in 5th gear. Not every gear.

Maybe if you're only mapping 100% throttle.

We use pretty much all the gears when mapping a bike. Just because of some of the loads we put on it getting the bike down to a certain RPM and what not.
