Oil pressure /Oil Temperature

Anyone knows what is an acceptable oil pressure/oil temperature for the Busa 02 ?

Also can I do away with the oil cooler or is that a must ? I need more space in that area

Don't know what the tmp i supposed to be but I can tell yo Not to do away with the cooler.

(Unless you don't plan on riding her that is)

OK, looked up the specs:

Above 200kPa (28psi)
Below 500 kPa (71 psi)

@ 3000 RPM, oil temp at 60 C or 140 F.


I believe the oil temp is for checking purposes, and not a maximum temp.

What ever you are planning to do to your bike, I wouldnt remove the oil cooler.

You would really be suprised how much cooling duty oil performes in an engine!
If anything, when we mod our bikes for a substantial HP increase its worth while thinking about upgrading water/oil cooling systems.

More HP usually means more heat.
