Oil light

I find that once my Hayabusa is warmed up sometimes the oil light will flicker at an rpm below 1200. It seems to only happen once it's been running for a while then shut off and restarted right away. But sometimes it's sporatic when it occurs. Only at a low rpm though. Someone told me to change the battery. I was wondering if this is common or if I have a serious issue here.

forget the battery, get a live gauge on that motor first... make sure you do not have an oil pressure issue FIRST... a lot cheaper and easier than putting a complete motor in..

same problem i had when my bike was overheating engine oil ligth turn on, not a bigie.it depends the oil that you are using.

Could be the sending unit also.
