oil drain plug torque

What is the oil drain plug torque spec? The owners manual does not give this information. I hate to give it too much. Or not enough for that matter.

I just grab the wrench and pull fairly hard......probably about 25lbs hard.......been fine thus far.

Per the book it's 16.5 foot lbs.  You've been over tightening your plug.

a stripped drain plug is an ugly situation. Yet not unsolvable
