o8 clutch fix? strange!!

Just did the 08 clutch update tighten the bolts that hold the springs in,,,
I went ahead and installed Barnett springs,, But all my bolts were tight
but you could see where they had been hitting the side cover, here it to...
Anyway sounds good now. But my question ? Like I say all my bolts were tight
could they have stretched? Well know it would have still made the clutch noise,,, Strange one!!!!

i didnt know about this... i did notice that when starting my 09 busa that if i held the clutch in, it would not tick. thanx!

Most bikes that were on the floor or still unsold when that came out have already had that done .
Mine had been sitting for quite some time when I bought it.
Then I saw same tech bulletin and asked them .
They showed me in service records where it was done less than a week after that TB came out.

so its not a recall just a technical warning so wat is the worst thing that can happen from this cause my wife bought me my busa when i was in iraq she got it the end of june and now i wonder if they did this for the bike or not

If your bike needs the fix you will know it!! Sounds like a can of rocks being shaken,,, When the bike is cold it is really loud,,

Just FYI, threadlocker doesn't work on oily parts. Clean the parts with some brake clean before you loctite.
