O-ring in link chain rivet torn..

In the middle of a 9 day tour and went to do some chain maintenance. Noticed one o-ring in the chain link was torn. Will call into a shop at the next town and see if they have a 530 link.. Poop..

Yeah, after doing some research, seems to be the general consensus. Just keep it well lubed then pull chain and sprockets and check for wear, etc..

Yeah, the o-rings just keep the lube in and the dirt out of the inner pins.
I wouldn't be concerned about it, and if it's the master link, then it's an easy fix.

Yep, just lube it and watch it. Maybe skip the wheelies til you get it replaced.

The o-ring is just a seal, it causes no issues with fit or link movement.
Chains are disposables, I'de ride it and not worry about it.

My new '14 CRF250R came with a non o-ring unit. I was shocked how quickly it failed. Should have installed an o-ring on her before the first ride and saved the sprockets.
