I’ve read about swingarms with extensions being unstable and weaker than a longer full swingarm. Good luck with yours.

My neighbor across the street just sold his '71 Chevelle SS, he'd owned it for over 20 years but wasn't driving it anymore...it was a beauty...dark, dark blue with white stripes.
