no there the gel ones has busa in red and carbon fiber and the busa symbol
You can pull the old ones off with a little effort, and keep them intact.
Compressed air can help getting them on and off.
There are several good grip glues to chose from.
The best thing I've found to keep street bike grips on(dirtbike grips endure a lot more abuse and need safety wire too)is...spit.
Laugh if you want, but spit in the grip and it'll slide right on. Let it sit overnight(like any glue), and the next day the grip will be as tight and secure as any other grip glue. Really.
As for the Harris grips, I assume you mean the aluminum ones.
They're held in place with set screws. If you find them comfortable then they work very well.
Pashnit has those.
I looked there clicked on the link and the page wouldn't come up
Jones, I'm a big fan of the Harris Busa Grips with the Kanji, I've got them on both my Hayabusa's. We don't sell the Harris brand, most of the grips we've got is all billet stuff.
But I liked them so much, I even bought a spare pair for a rainy day short while back. I've been told that a lot of the kanji stuff has been discontinued and you can't get the Harris Busa grips anymore, but I just kept googling it till I found a pair and hit buy now.
I just cut off my stock ones with a razor blade and done. Kept that simple. Hated the boring black stock look. But that's just me.
Blah.
Very cool.
Won't make you go faster. Just a visual style mod. Love the kanji's. Feel is pretty much the same.
