Hi guys i am currently riding a fully stock hayabusa which is the 03 model. I would like to know is it advisable to put a BMC RACE filter on my bike? Will it have any different or not? thks keep the information flowing in.

I've heard it flows more air but from a reliable source... the stock will create just as much power as a bmc.

BMC is a great filter. They make a couple standard and a race filter. Get the standard for the Busa. It flows great works well with pipe mods also.

BMC states that it must absolutely be re-mapped for the race one due to the extra flow.

BMC Flows like 924 cfm as compared to 400 something for the stock filter.

I have a Yosh race system with a PC3r. When I switched from slipons to the race system I remapped.

I was still using the stock filter.

Then I installed the BMC race filter.

Major difference judging by my seat-of-the-pants dyno, with no loss in the lower rpm ranges.
