need help

I'm tryin to install an integrated tail light on my '07 hayabusa. It has a red for ground and white for tail light and black for break light for the factory connection. The turn signals are hard wired. Eveything works on the operational check except when i check the breaks, they lights cut off. Any idea what the issue can be. Somebody help me please.

when I did mine, the connections on the tail light out of the box where backwards. I just pluged-unpluged till I got the right combo. its not very direct, but they work now.

what kind of light are you using. im running a valor led on both my bikes. i remember i had to switch some wires in the light plug. if you are using the same light let me know and i can check mine for ya.

When I first installed mine, I had a bad ground that that would make the lights cut off when the brake was applied. Check to make sure you have a good ground. OH, and welcome to the oRg.

Sounds like it may be a simple fix. For me, I will attempt many mechanical needs on my bike, but when it comes to electrical- I gotta bring to the local shop for help.

Thanks for the response everybody. tmpowdercoating I have the valor LED also. Can u let me know how you got yours wired. twotonevert i will check the ground also.
