ok, do I cut the black plastic (and where?) or do I remove the plastic (doesn't sound right). Is there a link for this or am I in Yana Shiki Hell?

I had to cut it down to fit the new tail section.

Before you do any cutting, check out your tail section. You may not have to cut as much as I did or you may have to cut more. Good luck, its always hard to start the first cut!

do yourself a favor and just cut it all out the first time.use a dremel and wear something to cover your eyes,nose and mouth,that sh!t gets everywhere

I have the same tail (in blue, of course) so I'm betting it's about the same cut. The bike is really inpieces anyway so if I screw it up I'll look for a replacement tray. thanks

its kinda hard to "screw up" since it mounts to the tail section....seriously,you cant cut enough...just trim along the frame and you will be good to go
