So I woke up this morning and got my coffee to go sit in the garage, I'm looking and smilin... (remember my post about how to get rid of the garage smiley face), well it turns out that is does go away really quick as I saw her rolled and lean on the wall. Thank god... so I get mad, take her out side and decide to give her her morning wipe down ...

i go back into the garage to get all the stuff and apparently she must had been really tired, because as soon as I got to the garage to get the suff to wipe her up (morning ritual) she is just strait out laying out on the pavement... so after alot of

I pick her up (heavy little bugger)and not a single scratch on her. Trust me I look all over, zip nada, needless to say that I will be gettting and adjustable kickstand tomorrow morning since she will be lowered as soon as the parts get here....

I now understand that is not if the bike is going to fall is more like when...

Dont need to spend the money on adjustable kickstands... just do the sidestand mod... common... everyones doing it...

...and be sure she is pushed forward in gear before setting her on the stand, and rolled as far into an decline before putting on a stand. She should not just move without momentum.

....I still need to look into this stand mod.

better yet, get ya a rear stand and prop her up on that every night. wont have to worry bout her tipping over in the garage again.. contact ian at redline stands (board sponsor). he will get ya squared away for sure!!!!

No sliders and no damage? Darn near a miracle. BlueHyay's advice is good...I used to only do it if I parked on a slight downhill but now I do it all the time.

always in gear, and rolled forward. Or parked facing upgrade. Or, in a baxely chock and rear stand.
Glad you were lucky and got zero damage.

Wife didn't have that look on her face did she? Busa may have been pushed?

Yup, common problem on my last bike too, same fix. In gear, all the way forward, and it'll never fall off the kickstand again even facing downhill. Helps to turn the front wheel left too it seems, forces it down on the stand even more.

I think the dog had something to do with it since he is scared sh(*t from her) actually more like piss that is his new pisser(LOL) ... but againg he only weights 12 pounds... well I did bought the adjustable kickstand and just taking a break and might put it on tonight.... my butt is sore from that thing and only rode like 60 miles today...
I was amazed there was no damage on either instance... I think that the more u care about something the worse it gets, I care some, but its just a toy... nothing to loose sleep over it...
PS I got a new set of plastics with gas tank on th way with some wheels just in case something breaks(curtesy of my cusin in San Diego)... I like having spares of everything...I damn near have a whole miata in a spare bedroom...

What is this crap about people's bikes falling over? I sit mine on the kick stand and it seems far enough over that someone or something would have to consciously push it over (maybe VERY strong wind) or it would have to roll forward. I see no reason to have to make a "kickstand mod" unless your sitting it on uneven ground or some other wierd situation. Also, wouldnt you be at risk for sinking into black top with more weight over the foot of the stand?

That's the thing I went to the dealer today and park next to another buse and saw her lean and how forward the kickstand is but mine is almost perpendicular to the bike and just looking at her the wrong way is all it takes... taking care of that this weekend.. parts on hand since I need an adjustable one anyways for when it's lower....
has anyone had the seat shaved.... thinking about that too. since I'm only 5'7" and hate tippy toeing the scoot..
