My Busa is gone!

Two days ago I traded my Busa and 109 and got the Kawasaki Concours 14. I'm having withdrawal symptoms from not having my Busa, but i'm glad the 109 is gone. (another story altogether). I really wanted to keep the Busa and I probably should have but it's just not practical anymore to have two motorcycles. I considered the 08 Busa but I wanted something a little more geared toward sport-touring. So I thought the Concours 14 was a perfect fit. The Busa was a faithful bike and gave me no problems at all. It was tough as nails. I put many good trouble free miles on it and even rode it 1057 miles in one day. I missed out on the last ride here in NC, but I'd still like to hook up and ride even though i'm Busaless now. Here's a pic of my new ride.

Nothing Wrong with getting the Concours Bro I just wish they would have brought the black one to the US instead of letting the Europeans have it first. I have rode the Concours and it is a great ride very comfortable with smooth acceleration.

I'm wondering if Suzuki will ever come out w/ a model like the Concours or FJR1300 based on the Busa frame/engine? Would make for a nice one and wouldn't take too much.

And I also agree that an all black model would look helluv sharp.

I was leaning  the same way  with the M109r and the Concour. But after reading from one the 109 sites I've changed my mind. As for the Concour, it was just lacking a few luxury items I felt a true touring cruiser should have (hand protection,ABS breaks,heated grips, audio, etc). Now I'm right back to were I started trying to decide if I want a 07 or 08 Busa.

How well does the Concour handle ?

It's a great looking ride....can't fault your purchase. I was leaning towards one of these (BMW is too expensive) but instead I think I'll turn the Busa into a Sport-Tourer. Did you consider doing the same? Make sure you give us review after a couple of thousand miles....I'm interested.
