My AC went out in the house!

When I bought the house there wasn't even a filter installed. Hard telling how long the last owner ran it that way. It was pretty nasty.

yea most people dont know that most 1 inch thick filters should be changed almost monthly

I change my filter every three months. But its only me living there and I don't smoke or have any pets, so it takes it a while to get dirty.
