Mudflap gone

Trimmed up that nasty mudflap last night and also installed some short stalk signals. Then I moved the plate bracket all the way up. I came out much better than I had anticipated. Total cost was about $18 and took less than an hour. Now i don't have to rush to get that Top Gun undertail. Here's a couple of pics.

Sweet! I'll be doing that to mine soon too. But...does that reflector have to be there between the tail light and the license plate?

Actually, the reflector part can be trimmed from the taillight.

I took a Dremel to the reflector and the bottom of the tail light, drilled thru the license lamp box, mounted my plate holder to that. The light shines thru the bottom of the tail light and illuminates the plate (kinda!) It cost me nothing and allowed me to trim the rest of the fender off. I don't need rear signals, so they got ditched, and ordered clears for the front. Cleaned up the look of the bike for about $30 total. I'll post pics as soon as my clears get installed.
