Todays Sprint race result. Super psyched to see Rins going well on that Honda, but maybe most impressive is Oliveira in 8th at a race he wasnt even supposed to be in after Marquez "land-sharked" him in Portugal. Quartararo is having the season he absolutely did not want! Will he still be on a Yamaha when his contract is up?

Maby the fallacy in trying to use aerodynamics over power to go fast in a straight line. Aeros are a chaotic mess in traffic.

Agreed. Mir is more smooth and flowing while Rins is aggressive. and better suited to the Honda provided he can keep it on 2 wheels!
Not sure I agree on that, all the commentators could talk about the last few laps today was how smooth Rins was. I read an article today about how Nakagami was going over Rin's data and basically saying he couldn't ride the Honda the way that Rins does. He more or less rides it like a Moto2 bike with loads of Corner speed rather than Hard Braking and struggling to get the bike back upright again.

Loved all 3 classes of racing today :beerchug: stoked for Rins of course :super:

COTA's mean on the bikes be interesting to see how many been wrecked.
Absolutely! My comment earlier about a war of attrition was on point I think. Only 13 finishers in MotoGP!

Not a lot was written about Oliviera's weekend, but I personally was really impressed. He was a scratch on Wednesday due to his injuries, toughed it out and flew to Austin and passed his medical and parlayed that into a 5th place in the race.

A really good read by Mat Oxley here! The bit at the end where Fabio is talking about all the wings everywhere and how Yamaha are years behind all of the others is pretty telling!

Bagnia says the Ducati is "too perfect!" As crazy as that sounds it may be true. He says it gives him an unbeatable feeling and then he falls for no apparent reason. I think that's the MotoGP version of a first-world problem!

Wonder how Marquez is taking Rins being the only one to roll the RC213V over the finish line first in a while? I don't see this as a breakthrough though, I just think COTA works for Honda somehow.

So Marquez is still out for the Jerez round this weekend, Iker Lecuona to replace him, Bastianini is going to try and pass his medical test Thursday, Pol Espargaro is still in a bad way, but otherwise a nearly full grid for the start of the European rounds!

Also reading that the Khazakstan Grand Prix has been scrubbed (thank god!), whoever thought that was a good idea to start with was hitting the pipe pretty heavy! Between that and the race in India this year I just cant get into either one of them! Used to watch the F1 race there and the air was just so polluted it was sickening, not sure much has changed in recent years. Good news is that the season was pushing it with 21 rounds to start with, Bad news is that there will be a 5 week long summer break between races now!

That was a classy win by Pecco today :beerchug: big ups to Brad Binder again :D

Thought Jack Miller might've got a penalty for that pass on Martin as it looked more dodgy than Pecco's.

Fabios cock up didnt look like it warranted a long lap penalty ?

Well done KTM

And a biffed chain for Mav on the last lap

Pretty eventfull main race in France with 'Bez' walking off on the Duke.

French people get to celebrate a 3rd with Zarco.

Other ride of the day last years Moto2 champ Augusto Fernandez picking up a 4th

Collisions between Bagnaia & Vinales then Marini & Alex Marquez on the same lap Marinis initial save was pretty darn good.

Marc Marquez DNF same with Rins and Mir , the Honda really is a piece of crap that is not gonna win a championship anytime soon.
