Hi Adam,
A more dedicated touring bike is no bad thing.
I know folk on here will say the Busa does it all, but its nice to have something else
even more suitable and not compromise the Busa.

I love naked bikes so I picked up a GSX1400 (not sold in the US) and use it as my
mile-muncher as it has a better seat, luggage and lower pegs etc than I wanted on my Busa.

If your Mrs gets to read this.... My wife paid for my 20 foot by 30 foot "bike shed" and positively
encouraged me to buy a 5th road bike ! God bless that woman!

Funny enough I was recently talking about owning multiple bikes,

...about 16 or 17 years a go I was on hard times, living on $1 noodles,
house furnished with other folks junk, walking to work, wearing threadbare
old clothes couldn't afford a drink / smoke / night out. I struggled to pay bills,

... and when I went to the drags I rode my Nitrous Bandit, my Ex-Mrs rode my stretched
1100 Katana and my mate rode my GSXR1100.

A mans got to have priorities of what's important !

In post #22 you say wife and in post #23 you say Ex-Mrs.

So if I got this right, maybe the second wife didn't want to end up like the first wife so she KNEW to
say "Oh honey let me pay for your bike shed and go ahead and buy another bike if that makes you happy". Does she have a single twin sister?

Ex-Mrs is still in England, wouldn't leave her family.
I have a new Australian wife now, it was a great upgrade.

Had bikes, houses, pets and jobs last me 10 or 15 years,
best I have got out of a wife or partner is 6 years, they come, they go.

This one is doing well, she's almost up to 5 years and all good so far! LOL

Thanks. I have a bit of a passion for big IL4 16V chain drive Suzuki's.
Some folk say mine are all too similar and I should have something different, but it works for me.

Hope to find a few more one day, would love another Katana again,
the late SD model with the 6 spoke wheels, black motor and alloy foot pegs,
plus a GS1200SS, an Inazuma 1200, an 1135EF, an 1127 GSXR Slingshot and a few others.

I've done the Harley / Yam / Kawasaki / Honda thing, and a few oddballs like Cossacks but now
I'm quite happy in my narrow minded little world.
