Modified Plenum

I have a Mr Turbo Plenum which is a two piece unit made from billet aluminum with 1/4" thick walls. I'm fabricating new sides and top for a taller one piece unit with the air inlet and BOV mounted on the front. I have access to enough 1/8" aluminum to complete the job. Although the system is at 10psi for now, that will all change over the next two years so I'm also looking ahead. Is 1/8" aluminum sufficient for a plenum?

The rcc/ghetto stage one plenum use 1/8 alum. and run 15# boost plus, so you should be fine.

one well known builder uses .100 thick 1/8 is .125 when used as plenum material its not so much the thickness but the quality of the welding

Thickness will be fine, but make sure the welds zafe tight and the plenum can not blow off the TB's

That's also been on my mind. I noticed the clamp area at the top of the TB's is less than half inch (10mm to be exact), but the T-Bolt Clamps are 3/4" wide. Not sure how well regular hose clamps hold but I also noticed some setups use brackets between the plenum and the frame to hold the plenum down. Curious what I should do... any advice on this?
