I use pilot powers now (front and rear), rear is cooked and I really want to switch
to Dunlops Q2s but I got to much tread on the front still so I am thinking about
just putting the Q2 on the rear and letting the front ride...

Big no no or no big deal ???

I was going to do that with a Q2 rear and an Avon Storm up front...but I got too good of a deal on the Q2's. I probably could have got a few thousand more out of the front tire, but oh well. It had a radial patch on it anyway, and I knew it would have bugged me to death to not have matching tires.

big deal? no! You wont even feel the difference. And if you do, you will adjust within 20 miles. It's not like the tire is gonna care

I had Michelin's on front and Pirreli's on the rear for a while didn't feel anything:thumbsup:

Shred that PP and use it for starting fires this winter. Put your Q2's on both ends and never look back. You won't be sorry you did! :beerchug:
