Mirror help

I want to replace my mirrors so that they extend out a bit. i dont mind the current look but they dont stick out far enough. I have seen the extenders. Not sure that I like them.

One question, is there a boot that fits over the extenders?

Question two....are there any recommendations for replacement mirrors that are on a longer "rod" with no boot. Thin and clean??

I have the extenders and find that they blend right in with the color of the mirror. I haven't seen any aftermarket extenders for them anywhere, but I haven't looked in a while. I have heard/seen some folks use the GSXR mirrors or the Honda Blackbird (good luck finding a set) mirrors as replacement with some success, but most of the others are either for cosmetic look without any real value (seeing outside your shoulders).

02-04 GSXR1000 mirrors are a little bit longer..imo look better too!!

Here's mine - GSXR 1K
Off ebay carbon fiber look, and signals to boot.
Had to make my own mounts but well worth it.
PM if you want the template for the mounts anyone.
