Met a couple of old friends.

Lynne was on facebook and found a site about where we both used to live, the east end of London.
Someone had put a thing on there about a my local pub and asked who used to drink there.
So I went on the site and saw a lot of my old friends on there.
We all sort of lost touch when I moved abroad and when I moved back they had moved on.

Got in touch with quite a few of them.
And last Sunday a couple of them came to visit.
Turned out they only lived about 15 miles away.
Martin and his brother Leon.
I hadn't seen Martin for 23 years.

So Lynne and me met them down the pub.
We had a great time reminiscing about the old times and just catching up.
They are both going to come and visit again when it's a bit warmer because Martin's girlfriend is disabled and the cold doesn't agree with her.

After they had gone home Lynne and me stayed down the pub and met up with a few new friends we have met since we have been living here.
Needless to say we both went home very drunk.
