mesh?

how do you put the mesh on the fairing openings? i saw one person used liquid nails? a fastener? just wondering due to my fairings now off the bike i would like to maybe try this.....

I used a soldering iron and then a bit of ultra black around the edges to complete the hold.. (hold soldering iron on mesh till it sinks into plastic a bit.. hold till cool)

I used an epoxy made specifically for the plastics. If you just bought the mesh you'll need to do some hand forming to make it look real nice. It was my good fortune that postal made and mailed me a set painted to match my bike.

I used clear silicone to hold in place

I used 5 minute set epoxy. I have used fiber-glass resin, but it takes longer to set up.

yup, epoxy ftw... there are some 1min quickset epoxy out there that can be useful to get them down in place (in addition to some masking tape to hold them in position).
Once set I put a few more touches of 5min epoxy just to make sure it holds.... make sure to do area at a time so that it doesn't drop on the painted area.
