The NFL has ordered all franchises to conduct PAT DOWN searches of AlL fans entering stadiums!! Yes you to can be a witness an willing participant to this historical violation of our constitutional right of unreasonable SEARCH and siezure all in the name of you looking the other way in the name of "security"!!!! This is one step closer to martial law folks...if i appear to give probable cause to warrent search...yes by all means i am subject to a search ( ie acting wierd, gun like bulges in clothing, nervious or jittery, ect ect) NOT because i PAID to go WATCH my favorite football game with thousands of similar thinking folks!!!! you cannot excuse away your rights in the name of "security" and desensitise you or your children to the concept of GOVERMENT CONTROL!!!

Easy answer...don't go to a game. A few weeks of empty stands and wallowing tv ratings and it will change.

But its not just there.. We already "tolerate"airports... They now calling for this...plans already for shopping malls...even roadside checkpoints...what is it going to take folks before we say ENOUGH!!!

Land of the free huh??? Yeah right! Dept. of Homeland Security is beginning to take on characteristics of the KGB.

As someone that is on planes regularly (like multiple a week) I am "OK" with most of the airport stuff. I'd rather have a little up close and personal time with some total stranger than not make it home to see my kids. That being said, I would not tolerate it at a shopping mall and a road side checkpoint would quickly meet with legal action. There will be a point when Americans finally decide that they need to stand up and say enough is enough. Will it be before we have sharia law or more socialist crap forced on us in the name of being PC... who knows :banghead: I'm not building an ark but I did look up some sites on how to build a boat

More people are killed by snakes in the U.S. Than by terroistic acts... Why in the name of security are we not pat sown n stripped searched before we go into the woods? Yes its obsurd but there is a POINT!!

What about concealed carry with a license? In Georgia, there were no stipulations about me carrying a gun into a stadium with my license. I see where you are going with this, and I think it is BS as well, one more step to not being free.

because neither a pat down or strip searching would solve the snake bite issue ??? The airport security I understand, like it or not if we didnt at least have some level of protection and prevention at the airports, we would see more stupidity and a lot more deaths. The TSA is the last line of defense in all of the security leading to you boarding the plane....honestly I dont think they collectively could find their way out of a wet paper bag with a sharp stick but they do stop the stupid ones. Unfortunately we live in a different society than we did 12yrs ago. There is no one single event you can point to that is the cause of it all. Some of it is for the better, some of it is purely reactionary to stupid acts and now we have to live with it (ie taking your shoes off at the airport).

The real issue you probably want to focus on is all of the rights the politicians are trying to give to the illegal aliens....medical/dental/vision coverages, waivers for having vehicle insurance and oh yeah dont miss this one... the right to VOTE. Its easier for politicians to force crap down our throat when they can turn teet to uninformed or uncaring folks and just get the vote they need to maintain their high profile, high paying jobs. How about we cut the pay of the US politicians and make it a true govt. job. Make them take the standard govt. insurances and policies they are forcing on people. I suspect then we might see some "change" Otherwise we'll keep moving down this slippery slope losing more and more of our rights, privileges and freedoms until one day its too late to fix it. :banghead:

its amazing how a few animals can disrupt the civil human being right to enjoy a football game. a few years back they banned motorcycles from entering the park where I work because once again a few animals dont know how to act and now everyone else pays the price. signs of the times I guess

Sounds like just lazy or stupid policing in that case...actually if its a public park I'm pretty sure its illegal to block access to privately owned vehicles that are legally registered/inspected/licensed. I agree with you 100% that its the few stupid ones that ruin it for the masses of rule following folks.

its not really illegal. although I did hear of a few challenging the cities ruling to ban MC's from the park but of course no one wanted to fork up the $$$$$ for an attorney so its been like that for many years now. totally disagree with it and feel that anyone entering the park should have to show proof of license, reg and insurance and that would eliminate 99% of the animals ruining it for those that just wanted to enjoy a ride thru the park which includes a very big and beautiful beach.

they charge an outrageous fee just to enter for those who do not live in the city which deters non city residence from going there . city residence happen to pay outrageous taxes. well, those who actually work that is.....:sarcasm:

its a HUGE park and every time the police would try to stop someone the animals would ride accross the baseball diamonds or drive thru people having a picnic in the park and tear up the fields. its a violent city in general. the animals would pull wheelies and lose control of their bikes and smash into people as well as parked and moving vehicles.

its a real shame because it use to be a place where thousands of bikes would come to every summer.

I blame President Obama for this. It's all his fault. I bet he did it just to piss off chrisjp. What a wanker. You'd think he'd have better things to do!

Going to watch a football game is not a necessity. Stadiums are a place of business and they have the right to institute any rules they like. You don't like the rules? That's you're right...don't go. Just stop bloody whining about it.

Just because you have a license to carry a concealed weapon does NOT give you the right to go where you want with it. Let me give you an example: nobody walks into me home carrying a gun. Your choice is to leave your gun at home or not come into my home. I see no reason why the rules should be different for my place of business. Do you?

My businesses are in Texas and several of my employees have concealed handgun licenses. They are not permitted to bring their guns to work. If they do, I will fire them. Is that wrong just because they have a license?

hop a ferry and come to Greenport NY there's a ton of bikes here every weekend that its nice :)

Well, I must say that an NFL game with thousands of fans gathered together, to enjoy something quite `American`...does seem to be a logical terrorist target...however I`m all for racial profiling...or like you said, something obvious.

roger that. what is it that draws bikes there?
honestly I have no clue but there's a ton of them. A lot of cruisers/HD but a fair amount of sport bikes as well. There are some pretty nice roads here, now that the stupid season has ended the roads are a lot less crowded these days. Its less of a place to haul tail and more of an area to cruise and enjoy the sights. Sights can include the water/area, seeing the gross national deficit of oh say all of central america sitting at the stop light beside you or the 2 leg wild life walking around the towns/beaches. Living here I guess I take some of it for granted but the area is very pretty and a massive difference from the first 80-90 miles of long island as you drive east
