Okay, so all of these other Hayabusa web sites..like Suzuki Hayabusa.org and Extreme Busa...what's up with them? Are they located in different countries and serve memberships over yonder? Or were they kicked off of Haya.org by the moderators for calling women bad names or getting too pissy with the wrong person? Is Suzuki Haybusa.org just the corporations web page and supported by Suzuki? Enlighten me, please. 2hip

Certain websites have better information and different types of members.

If I want to know more about performance mods or issues that are known to the Hayabusa's I frequent SuzukiHayabusa.Org If I want to kick it and plan a local ride I would post it here.

Some sites are better than others however for different reasons.

If you want Pron and some BS talk go to In Memory of Lucie Stone -- LABUSAS.ORG however expect to get the noob treatment.

Each is owned by individuals. To my knowledge none of the "fan sites" are endorsed by Suzuki corporate.

Each forum sets it's own rules and the mods and members set the tone. I only visit here because I feel a good connection with the other members (read: similar interests outside of bikes) and there is a sense of comraderie and forgiveness. I've never found that on any other board for any other subject.

The .ORG is my electronic home and I'm happy to say I've met many people in person from here and all have been as great as they are on the board. Hope that helps.

+1 you said it all

It all boils down to preference bro. They all seem informative and great places to hang out and discuss busa issues etc... I started here and sorta got used to being around and enjoy the posts. If i probably started somewhere else I would say the same... OR MAYBE NOT

Dont mean to brown nose but I think the difference is in the moderators/administrator. They dont put up with any crap here. Act like an adult or get booted. Consequently, we have the creme de la creme of motorcycle riders...yeahhhhhh ! :cheerleader:

busa gear (ie gps unit reviews), trackday tips & setups, pics of busas, meet n greets, civilized & respectable conversation among adults = hayabusa.org

turbo or serious motor build up, degree value of a cam = suzukihayabusa.com

drag racing, slider clutch, grudge bike post = psychobike.com

excellent busa raffles = extremebusa.com

2nd gen busa info & a very small canadian site = busanation.com ( have their cool logo on my bike)
trip09.jpg

LA scene (just found this one) = labusas.org

acceleration specialist for busa and other bikes = brockracing.com (streetsmart owners section where the secret stuff only available to customers of brocks equipment)

I am sure there are more busa sites out there. Yup, I am guilty of being a member of all of those sites. There is a site for most of what you care to surf for but guess where I spend most of my time:laugh:

Suzukihayabusa.org was owned by a guy who had a garage and tuned turbo bikes...was a very good tuner...he ripped off a bunch of people and one guy for tens of thousands (last I heard). It was rumored to have been taken over by another guy and the server owner.

Extremebusa is rumored to be a bunch of guys from this site who were heading off the create bigger and better or their own.

Both sites have "rules" they enforce at a whim...
Both sites have devoted followers who will claim the site owner's can do no wrong.

and there are even more that haven't been listed with a different flavor as well. They all have their own persona :beerchug:

Well let's just air this one out too...

I make at least 10 mistakes a day. I say something inappropriate, offend someone, delete a thread without thinking it through, the list goes on and on.

At the end of the day I work very hard to not make the same mistakes each day. No one is perfect, we strive to give everyone a fair chance to survive on the Internet but sometimes people just don't want to conform to the 'Atmoshpere" we have here.

Gary I think that when you say "devoted followers who will claim the site owners can do no wrong" you should rephrase that with "devoted followers who will claim the site owner does his best" people are very understanding and forgiving here...

Most members here are also on Psychobike, and S.org,SUZUKI4LIFE...I'm also a member on labusas but dont think they even talk about bikes??

S.org and H.org the best for info,pb lots of racers...

Ive been on all since I got My busa in 2000 and a little before then because I was riding/racing a friends 99 when they first came out..

I owe alot to all the sites, meet some good people(in real life and just threw the net)learned and still learning alot, found and helped some people with some nice parts ect,and if you have a problem with your bike, nice to have 1000s of memebr to help figure out what it could be!!

:beerchug::beerchug:..

no I said it correctly.

If you make a mistake, own up to it....(they don't)

You're human, you have a right to make mistakes.

I've been around (these sites) plenty long, probably as long or longer than you Doug.

Well at least one thing is perfectly clear.... I'm a failure!:laugh:

and of course I will always disagree here.

I am a firm believer in: make a rule, follow a rule, enforce a rule.

If you get into "gray areas", make a new rule or modify the existing one (making sure everyone is aware of the new change or addition), THEN follow that rule and enforce the rule.

I see too many times where places implement a rule just so they can say a guy violated a rule that did not exist. Or twist a current rule to extreme...both instances are childish. It is a fine example of saying "this is our sandbox, we don't like you here."

then of course there is always the "Good Boys club" on every site....

that of course is another subject.

Glad none of this stuff exists here :whistle::whistle:???
