I am newbie. What RPMS should I keep the bike at, or what would be lugging it. I know on my airhead BMW , that 3000 and below is lugging it. My sweet spot is about 5000 RPMs . Thanx Airhead 1775

3500-4000 is a good cruising range...5000+ is OK too

Lugging it isn't a big worry- you've got 65-70 lbs of torque at 2500 RPMs or so, most bikes wish they had that at redline!

Remember you're on a bike with close to 100 lbs of torque, that's a lot of grunt to keep it moving.

+2 on that one. She's a torque beast.
For blindingly quick throttle response, cruise at 3500 or so.
