i just ordered the black pyramid hugger/chainguard for my 08'. they are on backorder but David @ streetfightersbydesign.com said he has a shipment of them arriving within 7-10 days. happy b-day to me a month early

I too have the Black Pyramid. Just need to install it. I have put about 10-coats of polish on it. Anyone know if this rubs against the swingarm?? I was thinking of putting rubber between the swingarm and hugger.

Mequiars Tech Wax 2.0 Paste. It comes highly recommended by some detailing friends of mine. I have also been using this on the Busa.

just got my pyramid hugger ($190 shipped) yesterday from dave and it looks and fits great! there is little room for error so i would suggest mounting the black bracket that comes with it for the brake line side first before you drop the hugger in. other than that, an easy install!

thanks for posting pics, Schism! Really like how it extends deep into the rear tire. Just about sealed my choice of a rear hugger when I am ready to buy one!

I agree, there is very little room for error. I ended-up have all mount points loose and then tightened in series to finally get them all the way down.

Kind of wish I went with the carbon, but we ALL know that BLACK IS the fastest color!
